The number of inventory homes for sale in Crow Wing County still remains low; making would be buyers having a difficult time finding their perfect home. With buyer demand high and housing supply decreased we are even seeing many times multiple offers on a home. This is the perfect time to put your home on the market. The number of inventory home was down 26.3% in April compared to last year.
The good news is that the number of pending home sales, which in turn will be closed homes sales was up over the last year by 3.6% indicating that there are more buyers out there now than a year ago. Tight competition and fewer homes under foreclosure are helping to increase the price of homes. The median sales price in April was $150,000 up 14.5 % from last year and the average sales price was up to $188,900 an increase of 22.1 %. The increase in home prices we are seeing means more and more Crow Wing County residents are no longer underwater on their home loans.
