The Crow Wing County housing market is heating up as we dive deeper into spring. The Greater Lakes Association of Realtors recently released the local housing market numbers for April 2014. Home sale prices continue to rise. The average sales price of homes in Crow Wing County was up 46.1% in April compared to this time last year to an average sales price of $209,325.
The median sales price of homes is up 12.2% to $168,250 over this same period of time last year. Now is a good time to be a home seller. Home sellers in April received 92.5 % of their original asking price, up 3.7%. The number of days a home sits on the market is also steadily declining, and was down 19.2% last month.
The number of inventory homes on the market continues to remain low causing an increase in competition. If you were considering putting your home on the market now would be the time to do so.
