Summer is just around the corner and the housing market in Crow Wing County is continuing to heat up. For the month of April we saw the number of new listings increase over this time last year by 6.8%, but the months supply of homes available decreased. The number of days a home is sitting on the market decreased by a whopping 19.2% to an average of 149 days. Not only are homes selling more quickly, but they are fetching a higher price. The average sales price in April increased by 46.1% over last year to $275,921, and the median sales price increased by 12.2% to $168,250. Last month sellers on average received 92.5% of their asking price, compared to 89.2% at this time last year.
