Crosslake will be invaded by pirates as they search for lost treasure in the upcoming Crosslake Days starting this Friday September 28th. There will be pirate events for all ages such as a car & motorcycle show, chili cook-off, art fair, children’s games, and much more.
Grab your favorite pirate gear and attend the Royal Ball and Coronation at 8 p.m. at Moonlite Bay on Friday September 28th. Prizes will be awarded for your Pirate costume along with being plenty of food, prizes, and drink specials.
The fun continues on Saturday September 29th with activities filled all day long. The 11th Annual Classic & Custom Car and Motorcycle Show will start early with registration from 8- 10 a.m. at the Old Catholic Church Parking Lot, 35808 County Road 66. Live entertainment at the car show will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. along with a Food & Beer Garden, catered by Maucieri’s available from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The chili cook-off will begin promptly at noon and will end at 3 p.m. For a detailed map on chili locations check online at crosslake.com and at participating Crosslake merchants.
The Kid’s Day Party will be held on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Crosslake Community Center. Activities include free carnival games, prizes and root beer floats for children under the age of 12. Artisans & Crafters Fair will also be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Old Exchange Parking Lot, 36095 County Road 66.
