Winter recreational options abound in the Brainerd Lakes Area. The area offers more than 1,200 miles of well-groomed, well-mapped, interconnected snowmobile trails. In addition, Ski Gull near Gull Lake offers affordable downhill skiing and snow tubing. Cross country skiing trails can be found throughout the region and winter biking has become a popular sport as well.
In addition, the area has some spectacular winter events to enjoy throughout the cold months. We’ve included some highlights below, from December to March. And if you’d rather come up and sit in a hot tub reading a book – well that sounds pretty darn nice too!
