10th Annual Crosslake Winterfest Set to Begin This Week

The 10th annual Crosslake Winterfest is quickly approaching. This Thursday, January 31st, the event kicks off with the search for the lost medallion. One of three clues will be released Thursday morning to help you in your search for the hidden medallion that is somewhere in Crosslake. You can pick up a new clue each day at the Crosslake Welcome Center, at any Chamber business member, or here online. If you are the lucky one to find the medallion bring it to Lake Country Crafts and Cones located at 36084 County Road 66 in Crosslake, to received your prize. Get your kids involved in Winterfest and have them join the kids coloring contest. You can pick up your coloring contest entry page at many Crosslake businesses or online here. Once your child’s masterpiece if finished turn it in at the US Army Corps of Engineers Crosslake Campground before the deadline of Saturday, Feb. 2nd at 12 noon.

The Cabin Fever Carnival and Celebrate Winterfest will begin on Friday, Feb. 1st. There is sure to be something to offer everyone in the family. New this year is fireworks that have been made possible by increased sponsorships. Saturday brings back the popular Soupfest where $3 SoupMugs will be available for purchase on Friday so you will be able to take advantage of $2 Coors Light tap beer at participating establishments. Purchase your $5 wristbands that will allow you to get numerous deals and discounts from a wide variety of participating merchants around Crosslake.
