The annual Brainerd Lakes Marketplace event will take place this coming April 5-6, according to the Brainerd Lakes Chamber. The event will be held at the Brainerd Area Civic Center and Gold Medal Arena. The premier sponsor of the 2013 Brainerd Lakes Marketplace is Essentia Health. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday and close at 8:00 p.m. Saturday hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday April 5th the event opens once again with special senior events; followed by a Party in the Park on Friday evening. Saturday April 6th the fun continues with Day of the Young Child where there will be numerous activities for kids from face painting to clowns. The cost of admission is $2 per adult and admission for those less than 18 years of age is free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or can be obtained by any office of the Brainerd Lakes Chamber. Your paid admission ticket provides you with a chance to win various door prizes. You must be present to win the door prizes which will take place at the top of the hour, starting at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, and ending at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
